Description

  • Rhinocerotidae

Condition

A restoration to the undulating rim (visible on the reverse from 3 to 6 o'clock) and to the bottom of one lotus stem (showing on the illustration), a crack to one stem to the rear of the cup, another hairline 2.3 cm inside the rim at 5 o'clock, otherwise in good condition. The actual colour of the horn is less red and more brown towards the bottom end than the illustration would suggest.
