Overall good condition. A minute dent to the inner mouth rim, a tiny chip to the tip end of the wings of the yellow butterfly on the left shoulder (looking at the illustration), another small chip to the red overlay beneath the base. The bottle is whiter with more contrasted colours than on the catalogue illustration.

This bottle is a classic example of the multi-coloured glass overlays which were produced during the eighteenth century.
