l'une des faces très finement sculptée des trois amis : le bambou, le prunus et le pin, l'autre face entièrement polie ; bouchon en corail serti dans du cuivre doré
Condition
Good condition. The other side of the bottle is plain and well polished, the colour is slightly less grey and a fraction more celadon than on the catalogue illustration.

the quality of the jade, the carving of the foot and the impressive quality of the design as well as the way the stopper is made with a coral cabochon inserted in gilt copper is very similar to some of the white jade bottles from the imperial collection; see Snuff Bottles in the Collection of the National Palace Museum, Taipei 1991, no.122, 182 or 191.
