Condition
The hands can detach with some fingers chipped on the left hand (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). Some wear and light scratches to the gilding on the chest, veil and shoulder, but overall the figure is in good condition. As these are usually constructed, the mandorle is separate from the base, as well as the Buddha itself and the base comes in three sections. The globular section in the middle with a chip approx 12 x 5cm to the lacquer, the lotus crown beneath with three petals chipped and missing, the octagnonal base with wera and frittings to the hedges, otherwise good.
