Description
comprenant deux inrô, un temple portatif, un kobako, une petite boite lobée, un kizerutsuru et deux vases en porcelaine de Kyoto
Condition
The kobako with overall age wear to the lacquer and rubbing to the gilded areas, cracks and fritting to the edge to varying degree, one crack extending horizontally on 8cm to one of the end sides of the box cover , another crack across the width of the box at the bottom by the footrim, a chip and a crack across the length of the box to the black lacquer beneath.
The miniature temple is in good condition, some elements probably missing from the hands of the divinity inside and small chips to te tip end of some of the lotus petals on the stand, but overall in good condition.
The inro to the left, signed Kajikawa, with a tiny dent to the interstice and mild wear to the fundame ground, otherwise in good condition. An old inventory label stuck to the surface on one end. The inro on the right sligthly faded but generally in good condition.
The cosmetic box with lacquer a fraction faded but otherwise in good condition.
The Kiseruzutsu in lacquer imitating wood with four of the inlaid prunus flowers missing. Signed in archaïc script in a cartouche on the reverse.
