Condition
The handle and the spout have been detached at some stage of their life and re affixed to the body with old repairs showing. The cover is missing. There are two dents to the lowest register of the ewer with some little losses to the enamels, another at the tip-end of the Monk's cap cresting and inside, also with some losses to the enamels. Otherwise a rare and nice object.
