Description

Condition

A loss to the black lacquer ground 2,7 x 2,7 cm to the upper left corner, expected age crackling otherwise to the black lacquer ground. A few small losses to the mother of pearl inlays and minor wear and fritting around but overall the table is in good condition. The table comes with an old Japanese wood box. The tone of the mother of pearl inlaid decoration is slightly more yellowing pink (closer to the detail image below in the catalogue), less silver white than the illustration would suggest.
