Description
d'une généreuse forme arrondie sur un court pied ovale avec un haut col allant en se rétrécissant, le bleu sous couverte d'un ton profond avec par endroits une accumulation de pigment caractéristique de la période, le pourtour à décor des fleurs des quatre saisons, hibiscus, lotus, pivoines et camélias, peints alertement en rinceaux feuillagés, des enroulements végétaux autour du col, l'intérieur de la base émaillée

Condition
The vase was mounted as a lamp. The mouth rim is partly grounded (approx 3 cm, showing on the illustration in the catalogue), there is a hairline crack in the glaze on one side of the body running towards the right from the bottom of the neck on approx 15,5 cm then downards on 11,5 cm. Some light surface scratches and imperfections in the glaze but otherwise in good condition. The blue is of a good tone, neither to bright nor to dark with strong "heaped and piled" effect.
