de forme traditionnelle balustre à décor de dignitaires sur la terrasse d'un pavillon, vases archaïsants et objets de lettrés, le robinet verseur serti dans la gueule d'un masque grotesque
Condition
The cover fitted with a later metal knob. The original fritting of the glaze restored (old restoration) around the cover rim (showing on the illustration in the catalogue) and in areas along the edges of the cover and body . A crack approx 9cm secured to the mouthrim, another 24 cm behind the fountain extending a little beneath the base, a hairline in the glaze on the reverse 10cm. Two unburst air bubbles and a restoration 2 x 1.5cm on the body (on the terrace ground). The front mask fitted with a later metal spout.
