Condition

Overall fair condition. Pile varies from 3mm in petals to low to knot bars in centre field. Loose threads and fraying around all edges of petal shapes. Cut between two petal shapes, approx. 16cm. long, which needs joining. Minor wear to knot count in areas, for example within light areas of central section, and to areas of some of petal motifs. Minor areas of pile loss, visible as tiny pinheads of white warp thread. Might benefit from a clean. Unusual format, probably intended as a table cover. Measurements: From widest points 146 by 146cm., 4ft. 9in. by 4ft. 9in. The central roundel from which equal sized petals emerge has a diameter of 89cm., 2ft. 11in. No fringe. No overcasting. Flexible handle
