Description

of rectangular form, the red silk ground embroidered with silver and silver-gilt threads with a monumental frieze flanked by applied pistachio green silk roundels with calligraphic forms, bordered by a geometric pattern of arabesque motifs

Condition

Fraying and very faint discolouration throughout. Minor loss of embroidered thread, especially to the borders. Matted on modern backing. As viewed.
