Condition

Pile overall good, approximately 3mm in depth, with a band of slightly oxidised dark ivory across top of urn and an area of partial oxidation across centre; area of repiling approximately 2cm in diameter in left lower half of field on central axis; minute areas of moth damage to left of navy blue mound supporting urn, in mound itself and in border directly beneath; ends overlocked; original pink silk side cords with some losses; particularly good colour and velvety kurk wool; colour slightly softer and lighter than in illustration, ivories slightly warmer; a very pretty rug
