Description

of deep rounded form, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, viridian green and relief red, outlined in faded brown and yellow, with two spotted deer surrounded by rounded motifs and faded stems issuing small rosettes, the rim with alternating floral motifs and crescents, the reverse with four small adornments

Condition

Very minor losses and nibbles along the rim. Very light craquelure and abrasions to glazed surface throughout. Minor chips to reverse with associated restoration. Small perforation at base probably used for hanging.
