Description
the watered-steel straight blade with gilded forte, hilt of rock crystal and applied silver gilt repoussé work comprising a stylised landscape and vegetation, the cloth-covered scabbard with chape and lock of applied repoussé silver gilt comprising similar decoration including mosques and vegetation, with bud finial
Condition
overall in good condition. the blade has some patination and scratches to the surface. there is some rubbing on the silver gilt work on both the hilt and scabbard, but this is due to age. the cloth on the scabbard is very worn and is fraying, as viewed.
