Description
Arabic manuscript on gazelle skin, written in red, blue and black ink heightened with gold, the main body of the chart divided into tiny squares arranged in a geometric pattern, surrounded by a margins of red naskhi script, enclosed in further bands of small script and blue and red alternating cartouches, a panel of four roundels to the top, headed by an inscriptive cartouche
Condition
In good overall condition, some creases, nibbles to outer edges, one tiny square missing to the top right quadrant, colours and gold bright, as viewed.
