Condition

Lined canvas. The surface appears pressed on the figure due to the lining process. Very fine craquelure visible on the figure. A few areas of retouching are visible with the naked eye on the chest. Under UV light: the entire dark background is repainted, with a possible vertical repaired tear at center left. Large areas of the hair are repainted at the back of the head and on the forehead. Scattered inpainting on chest. Inpainting on dress, with larger area of inpainting at lower edge.
