in good condition, generally; pinholes along the edges; abrasion and glue remnants from old matting along the extreme edges--a 2 1/2 in. diagonal crease at the lower right corner; figures, a few highlights of the composition--horses, dog and a few details around them appear shiny--this is probably varnish or gum arabic)--this emphasizes their appearance in the composition
