in good condition, generally; a few scattered, light smudges (mostly at upper right) and a couple of spots of light foxing; sheet is uniformly toned (edges under mat are lighter than the rest of it); sheet is torn from an artist's block, as the left edge is serrated; sheet is hinged to backing with pieces of tape along the upper edge verso
