Condition
The canvas is not lined. SURFACE: Two 2 inch, V-shaped tears, one at the upper left and one at center left. The tears are covered by paper tape on the reverse. A line of horzontal craquelure in the sky at top center, one inch from the frame. A few minor spots of pigment loss at left center and along right edge (appear white). A label in the lower left corner reads '40'. UNDER UV: No apparent inpainting, the tears retain much of their original pigment.
