Condition

Very good condition overall for an object of this type and age; some nicks and scratches, wear and tear from traditional use, as seen on photographs; loop on reverse, presumably for the attachment of feathers, broken; traces of an old label on reverse; exceptionally fine dark brown patina, partially lustrous, with traces of red pigment.
