Disparaissant sous l'accumulation des charges rituelles, le corps se dresse sur la base/piédestal, comme pour mettre en valeur la dignité du visage aux traits acérés, le menton prognathe tendu vers l'avant, l'intensité de l'expression accentuée par l'asymétrie des yeux métalliques. cf. Neyt (2004 : 118-119) pour des statuettes Songye témoins des styles environnants - Tetela en particulier-, offrant comme ici, dans la confluence des styles, des œuvres d'une rare et puissante individualité.
