Catalogue Note
Tout autant que par sa grande dimension – rare – ce bouclier s'impose par la beauté abstraite de son décor polychrome. Les rainures aux contours irréguliers ornent les deux faces de cercles concentriques alternant rehauts noirs, ocre-rouge et jaunes. A la face convexe répond au dos le mouvement de la poignée en saillie. Belle et ancienne patine d'usage.
