Condition
The work is on an old wooden stretcher attached with nails and is in need of professional restretching. There is a small hole approximately 1cm long in the central upper register, otherwise there appears to be no repairs or restoration.

This work is sold with an accompanying Papunya Tula Artists certificate that indicates this painting 'is a depiction of the mythological adventures of the Tingari Men at three geographical sites in Pintupi country, far to the West of Alice Springs. The sites represented are Pillintjinna, a large water hole, Rayinga, a soakage and an un-named cave site'.
