Catalogue Note

This painting is sold with accompanying photograph of Clifford Possum with the artwork as well as descriptive notes by Milanka J. Sullivan, and a comprehensive diagram drawn by Frank Mosmeri, with annotated descriptions outlining the ten various Dreamings depicted in the painting. The documentation bears the number CGM/EJM95001 and describes the story depicted. It reads in part: 'In this painting the artists portray a vibrant Anmatjerre desert landscape; filled with a host of varying motifs associated to native bushfood and sacred "Dreaming" sites, located in the artists' home country and around the Tanami and Simpson Desert in Central Australia.'
