Condition
The bark painting has a Certificate of Exemption from Export Control and can therefore be exported from Australia freely.
There is one vertical surface crack, approximately 4cm long, running from the left of the painting. A deeper vertical crack runs about 6cm from the drilled hole at the top centre through the nose of the larger figure (visible in the illustration); There is minor loss of white pigment (visible in the illustration). The surface has been treated with a low sheen fixative but it is sound and stable. There are no repairs or restoration.
