Né en 1892, Chin-San Long devient en 1927, au Shangaï Eastern Time, l'un des premiers photo-reporter chinois. Son travail, très imprégné des arts graphiques chinois traditionnels, s'étend sur la presque totalité du XX^e siècle puisque qu'il disparaît en 1995 à l'âge de 103 ans...
