Au verso, avec le tampon du photographe "Lee Miller 12, rue Victor Considérant Paris XIVe". 209 x 175 mm. Monté sous passe-partout et encadré (verre anti-UV « TruGuard »).

En assez bon état général. Plis dans les coins supérieurs et au coin inférieur droit. Surface légèrement sale vers les bords. Au verso, avec des tâches de colle (d'un ancien montage) décolorées.

L'annotation au recto de la photographie est de la main de Ludmilla Krassina, soeur ainée de Katia.
"Ce beau portrait est également un témoignage passionnant de la période « Man Ray » de Lee Miller en ce sens où il atteste très clairement de l'influence que celui-ci exerça sur la jeune photographe, alors débutante ; Roger Thérond, à qui je l'avais montrée il y a une quinzaine d'années, m'avait dit « regardez, il suffit de cacher la signature et vous avez un Man Ray »." (Christophe d'Astier).
Les tirages signés de la période française d'avant-guerre sont d'une insigne rareté, ainsi que le confirme Antony Penrose, fils de Lee Miller et directeur du « Lee Miller Archives ».
