Description

  • both overall: 15 by 15cm.; 6 by 6in.

Condition

The Heart: overall the condition of the ivory is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt consistent with age. One dagger has come loose and sits in the garland. The two daggers on the top right are reattached. One petal of one of the large flowers in the top right corner was reattached. The instruments of the Passion: overall the condition of the ivory is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt consistent with age. There are a few minor restorations to the ladder, chain and flagellan. The sword is possibly not in its original place. There is a small loss to the petal of on of the larger flowers on the left side of the garland.
