worked in applied polychrome felt-cloth with a central shield with The Royal Arms of Spain as used in the 16th century, applied with corner groupings of military trophies, all on a blue ground

Condition
This panel has a linen lining. Velcro has been attached across the top for hanging pruposes. The ground facecloth blue panel is comprised of two vertical panels, with vertical central join. All motifs are glued onto the ground. Some corners of motifs need re attaching. There is some stitching to selected motifs, such as the fleur-de-lys and to details of the central coat of arms. There are no metal threads. Overall good condition.
