with a shaped Spanish portor marble top; the gilding refreshed, marble top restored
Condition
The rear right corner of the marble top has restored break. The marble top has been restored with various areas of infill but this has been very well executed due to the mottling of the marble. Attractive detail to carving of base, with construction cracks generally due to shrinkage, as visible from photograph. There are some old minor restorations generally and the stretcher has been strengthened beneath. There is a section of the scroll missing and acanthus leaf on the right knee, but this can easily be restored. Evidence of old very minor worm which appears to be no longer active. In overall good restored condition.
