Description

  • Both approximately: 168cm. by 63cm.; 5ft. 6in., by 2ft.
the plain silk central shaped field with a four-sided border worked with golden scrolls with side profile flowerheads, incorporating eighteen cartouches enclosing Islamic calligraphic phrases, both edged with gilt-metal fringes (Qty 2)

Condition

Both panels are not lined. There are splits to the central silk field of both, one panel has yellow staining to one side and to one end and corner. The fringing is lacking in section across the end of one.
