Condition
Overall good restored condition; re-gilt; the first with old repaired breaks to the Anthemion finial with old glue to back; loss to left upscrolled foliate carving of the left candle arm (not illustrated); losses to gilding ad gesso of central fluted edge; the other with two later screws to the metal hook to backplate; repaired breaks to Anthemion leaves; repaired breaks to scrolled leaves of each candle arm with some old glue and with subsequent small chips to the gesso and gilding; overall with some wear and chips to gilding.
