the later backboard with penciled numbers 7257/152. Possibly originally japanned, re-gilt, later mirror glass.

Condition

Overall good condition, re-gilt; the carved bird to the cresting with minor old glued repaired breaks; minor old glued repaired breaks to the cresting, apron, and sides; overall with some wear and very minor chips to the gilding.
