in earlier style with molded border, cut-card strapwork, and leaf-capped handles, finely engraved on one side with the Royal Arms and supporters, on the other side engraved possibly later with the Royal badge, repeated on the cover

massive size and weight, Royal arms with supporters good, Royal arms in garter and flanking initials possibly refreshed or later, ?initial removed from inside Garter on cover, foot wobbles slightly
