The arms are those of Harbord with Venables-Vernon in pretense for Edward Harbor, 3rd Baron Suffield and his first wife Georgiana, heiress of George Venables-Vernon, 2nd Baron Vernon of Kinderton.

Edward Harbor was born in 1781 and created baron in August 1821.  M.A. 23 June 1802, adm. Lincoln's Inn on 24 April 1802, M.P. (Whig) for Yarmouth, Norfolk, 1806-12, and Shaftesbury, 1820-21, declaring himself "a Liberal" in 1819.  He was an advocate for the abolition of the slave-trade, the reform of prison discipline and the relaxation of game laws.  Edward and Georgiana were married on 19 September 1809.  As the only surviving daughter she "was a great heiress... and Vernon House, the family jewels, and the family plate went with her".  She died in 1824, and he in 1835.
