Overall good restored condition; the drop-in seat frames with springing and screwed into the seats; later corner blocks. The first chair with old repaired break to the top of the left stile at join with the cresting rail; slight lifting to stringing of right stile; plug to back of right stile at join with right armrest; back of right stile with four small infilled holes; old repaired break to right armrest support; each front leg with old glued crack and break with inpainting to the tops and with a loss to the turning of the left leg; lifting and loss to brass stringing of left seat apron; small chip to back right leg above the brass capped caster. The second chair with lifting and losses to the brass stringing of the right stile which is unstable and in need of restoration; bruising to the right stile; old repaired breaks to the tops of the front legs with infilling and inpainting and subsequent losses to the turned molding at the top, the front right leg with two plugs at join with front seat rail; back left leg lacking caster wheel; left side apron with slight lifting to stringing. Overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use.
