Seat probably originally caned, rails reinforced.
Condition
Overall good restored condition; the top of each stile with an infilled plug at join with the cresting rail; perishing to the finish of the cresting rail and with sun-fading; old plugged repaired break to the left armrest at join with left stile; chips and replacements to the molded edge around the upholstered section of the armrests; casters possibly replaced; some slightly loose; feet with small nicks and infilled chips; front right leg with a slightly loose chip at the foot above the brass capped caster; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
