the backrests mounted with prints; each backrail stamped III to the inside edge and with an old oval paper label with inked number 3275. Later decorated.
Condition
Overall good restored condition; later decorated; the printed demilune panels to the backrest possibly later, each with a horizontal age crack to the top above the lines of construction; each with small chips and losses to the paint with very small areas of inpainting, craquelure throughout and each with a canted rectangular faint outline to the center; some old worm to the seat rails; overall with some small chips to the ebonized surface and to the gilding with minor scratches and scuffs; caning in good condition; together with two ebonized later seat boards.
