A fine pair of George III ormolu wall lights circa 1780

each notched IIII, IIIII and IIIIII, IIIIIII respectively.  Lacking beaded elements, restorations.

Overall good restored condition; nice color to the gilding; each notched IIII, IIIII and IIIIII, IIIIIII respectively; lacking beaded elements to edge above the masks; the first with a repaired break to the socle of the urn finial and drilled with a pin to secure it; some surface abrasions to the vase; the left stiff leaf-molded screw cap to the left candle arm with discoloration, grime and loss to gilding and with oxidation; candle arms lightly loose; small area of surface abrasions to the right side of the stem with discoloration and slight tarnishing; the other with an old patched repaired break with small firing tears to the socle under the gilding and probably done when made, and now slightly bent forward; repaired breaks to the tops of the candle arms beneath the stiff leaf-cast collars with subsequent discoloration and loss to the gilding at the repair; the two foliate scrolls to the left of the central flower-head pendant of the frieze replaced; underside of the right drip pan with slight tarnishing; area of surface abrasion with slight tarnishing and discoloration to left side of stem; overall with some old dirt, and rubbing and wear.
