A gift from the artist to the mother of the present owner in the early 1950s

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, taped to the overmount on the reverse of the top two corners. There are small remnants of tape on the reverse, from previous mounting. Apart from a very small diagonal flattened crease in the lower right corner, this work is in very good original condition. Colours: In comparison with the printed catalogue illustration, the colours are overall fairly accurate, although the greens are slightly deeper in orignal.
