Condition
Bon état général. Cette pièce est en plâtre recouvert de métal. Elle a été restaurée récemment sous la direction de la Fondation Annette et Alberto Giacometti : comblement de petits manques de plâtre à la jonction entre le fût et la base circulaire et aplanissement de la partie supérieure qui reçoit la douille, refixée.
Oxydation général de la surface donnant un aspect contrasté à la pièce tel que visible au catalogue. Quelques petites traces vertes indiquent que l’oxydation est active. Une intervention est possible permettant de stopper cette évolution. Un devis est disponible sur demande.

Good overall condition.
This piece made of plaster is covered with a metal. It has been restored recently under the direction of the Foundation Annette et Alberto Giacometti: fill in of small lacks of plaster at the junction, between the barrel and the circular base, and levelling of the upper part, where the socket lays. The socket has been reattached to the lamp.
General oxidation of the surface giving a contrasted aspect to the piece as shown on the catalogue. A few green traces indicat that the oxidation is active. An intervention can be done to stop this evolution. A quote is available on demand.
