Catalogue Note

According to Luo Zhongli, between 1987 and 1991 he has created three versions of End of Year, the sizes are 186x121 cm, 169x117cm, and the one offered here, 97.5x79 cm, is the smallest version and and was completed in 1991.

After the first End of Year was completed in 1981, it was exhibited in Chongqing Art Museum (part of Sichuan Academy of Fine Art) from where it was purchased by a foreign tourist for 7000 RMB.
