Condition

Overall good unrestored condition with dust and dirt; small losses and holes to silk side panels of hood; chips and lifting to edges of wings of two angels to the hood; slight separation and lifting to molded edge above arched glazed door of hood; break to tip of right acanthus leaf of cresting to hood and slightly loose (see photo); central escutcheon between angels of case lacking (see photo); slight lifting to arched moldings of left and right side panels; overall with old marks and scratches consistent with age and use; please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the clock movement of this lot.
