the lock has been removed to reveal the CT. LINKE / SERRURERIE / A PARIS stamp and signed F. Linke to the upper right corner.

Condition

The vernis Martin decoration in its original condition now with sun damage to painted pigments and also with some chips in places showing the gilded undercoat. The bronzes are tarnished and dirty. There are chips to top edge of the cabinet due to the removing and re-seeting of the marble top. The cabinet and veneers with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use. Old paper label to the back. There is a large loss of veneer to the back of the right-end back leg of approximately 2 1/2 in. x 1 1/4 in.
