Condition

Both in good original condition. Strong black natural veining to the marble as visible in the catalogue illustration. One has two missing screws attaching the gilt-bronze side mounts to the base resulting in movement between the marble and the bronze.

From 1880 the firm manufactured silver and participated in major international exhibitions from 1900 to 1937. Keller is considered one of the leading large firms of the time alongside Aucoc, Boucheron, Cardeilhac and Christofle.
