A large magnificent gilt-bronze mounted Sèvres-style porcelain vase Paris, circa 1895

painted and signed Lebe(?) and titled LE DEPART D'HECTOR the lid with interlaced L and letter L, the reverse painted with a lakeside.

Overall very good original condition with tarnishing to the gilt bronze. The porcelain is in good condition but has wear to the gilt highlight decoration around the painted cartouches. The lid is original and has scratches and wear to the gilt highlight around the rim. Some oxidation to gilt-bronze. There is a minor chip to the glaze of approximately 1/2 inch long on the upper part near the handle. There is minor but visible restoration to the beaded collar from minor repaired chips, similar to the one previously stated. Wear and scratches where the gilt-bronze meets the porcelain. However, impressive condition considering the age and scale.
