the bronze square base stamped twice FRANCE, the lid with interlaced L and M in gilt underglaze.
Condition
As visible in catalogue illustration, there is extensive wear to gilt decoration, mostly to the rams head handles and oak and acorn wreath and also to the lid. The bronze base is oxidized and tarnished. The vase will need to be tightened back to the base with a central rod as there is movement to all sections.
