Possibly formerly a clock à cercles tournants.

Condition

Overall very good original condition; probably originally fitted as a rotery clock; the top with small crack to the front edge with restored small chips to the front edge; the two blue enamel medallions flanking the central medallion with scratches and small losses to the center and possibly lacking small precious stones; patch to the underside of the gilt-bronze neck at the back, possibly original the hole for a pendulum; the edges of the plinth with very minor chips and wear; overall with very minor scratches and wear.
