the first depicting the Forum, the second depicting the Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica, the third depicting St. Mark's, Venice.

The Collection of Gianni Versace, sold in these rooms, April 5, 2001, lot 120.

Condition

Overall good condition; the first with a small loss approximately 1/8 inch diameter to on inlaid stone; half of one inlaid stone lost; minor chips and wear to edges; the second with a very small loss to the edge and with a loss approximately 1/8 in diameter to the center of the micromosaic; very small chips and wear to the edges of the black marble; large shallow chip to underside of one edge; lacking gilt-metal banding and hanger; the last with an infilled chip to one inlaid stone to the base with infilling to the edge; shallow chips to the top edge and with minor chip and wear to the edges overall.
