the bowfronted coromandel lacquer mounted door with the usual very minute chips to the lacquer showing gesso above the two standing figures beside the long dining table; very light and minute hairline cracquelure throughout the panel and along the left hand side edge; black inpainting running vertically from the keyhole escutcheon to the bottom; restored diagonal crack approximately 1 1/4 inch in length to the roof of the pagoda; all bronzes have lost most of the gilding except for the female mask which may have been re-gilt; the carcass with the usual minute scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use.
